Interview Questions

This quarter I had the chance to be in film. The class gave me a lot of information of how to film and ho to use the tools. Things I enjoyed in my time there was being able to film and collaborate with other people. The things that I got to learn were how to use the 6 Shot Sequence, the AB Sequence, and the tools.  The 6 Shot was very helpful and I used it in all my videos. It helped me know which shot and angle I wanted my clips to be. The AB Sequence was when I had to follow the 180-degree rule. If you don’t follow the rule, then your character will end up going another direction then it was previously going in. The tools that I used were the IN and OUT, import and export, blade, and arrows. I had a lot fun in film.

My Dreamweaver Screenshots with Responses

The project was a very interesting experience. It was difficult, yet easy. The parts that were difficult was when you had to answer the questions that you had to see the tags on. I was stuck on that for a while. It was kinda fun. You got to see how the whole website kept changing while it went to plain to a more colorful design. Adding the links. It was fun and I'm glad i got to do it. It was a bit frustrating but i liked how it was going a bit smoothly. Some questions i have include:
Is it going to take this long to do another website?
Will it be more challenging?
Is there more too Web design?
That is all the questions i have. Let's see how those answers will be answered next quarter.

The Chase

The Chase

What I learned was to have patience in this project. It can get a bit frustrating at some times. Not everything will go as planned and some of the crew maybe absent so you would have to remake he whole schedule.
What I will apply to my next project will be the shot sequence.  The AB sequence to. Only film one side of the person being filmed.
Collaboration was different because it was only two people in the last 2 projects. Each of the two people had to film and it was easier. In this project there were two people being filmed and you had to do what the directors wanted you to do. You also have to work with the other actor and see their point of view.

How I can improve collaboration is working together more. Getting along better with the crew and just working together.

AB SEQUENCE PROJECT

I learned how to move the camera when filming at two different places. Also the editing helped with that.   I also learned how much the sound effects helped me. They made everything seem more realistic and the sounds were a lot louder. Learned how to only film one side of the character.  It was challenging at first but I got through.

I will use the 6 shot sequences and also use the AB sequence. The sound effects and music I will also use. I will have more clips and have more than this video. I will probably put more than just one song to the next video. Maybe like two or three.

I used a collaboration of sound effects and music. The 6 shot sequence I used it twice and so I got twelve clips in the end.  Used two different places so I was colliding the locations.

6 Shot Sequnce

The 6 shots are XW, XCU, MS, CU, WS, OTS. XW means set scene. When I have the whole scene together.  XCU means when I have the close up of the hands. MS means the hips up. CU is when I get the close up of the face. Only the head should be seen. WS is the wide shot. It is head to toe. Finally, the OTS is over the shoulder. It is when I get the persons shoulder, back of the head, and what they are doing.  Those are the 6 Shot Sequences.

What I learned was the 6 Shot Sequence. The project gave me knowledge of how all that worked. I also learned how to use a camera. I didn’t really know how to use one since I only recorded stuff with my phone at first.

What I will apply will basically be more footage. Maybe more seconds to each of the 6 shots.

My hobbies..

The tools that I used were the blade, arrows, In and Out buttons, the play and pause buttons and exporting. The blade tool helped me cut out all the unnecessary parts of the clips. It also helped me with cutting out most part of the music. The arrows made it easy to check each of the scenes slowly. To see if I liked what I saw. The arrows were very helpful in this project. The In button helped me because it put where I wanted to start each of the videos. If I wanted to start in the middle of the clip or anywhere I wanted. The Out button was exactly like the In button. Except it helped me with where I wanted my video to stop before I dragged it all to the timeline. Both buttons also helped me with cutting the transitions. The play and pause buttons obviously helped me see everything in its normal speed. Saw everything and if I didn't like something then I would just pause it and cut it out. Exporting brought everything together. I got the music and the videos with it. It brought everything together like the rest of the tools listed above.

The hobbies that I picked were very random. It all went from soccer to hockey to a bit of swimming, and singing, and playing the guitar. I combined sports and playing music since that's what I like to do. Playing sports and playing music!

Dream House and everything else!

What I liked about my dream house is how it all came together. It had a front door and back door. It had grass around it so made look more real. The house had structure and I like the levels of the door. The designs also made the house look more real.

I liked the front view of the house and back. It was very simple and i had a lot of fun creating my dream house. I am very happy that i got to be a part of this expirement. The tree and fencing made it seem more realistic. I am very happy with my house and how everything turned out.

In e-comm we work with animations and graphic designs. This experiment gave us more experience with the subjects. We had to line everything up and make creations that we have to do in this class. In e-comm we have to be artistic and this was a great example.
