The 6 shots are XW, XCU, MS, CU, WS, OTS. XW means set
scene. When I have the whole scene together.
XCU means when I have the close up of the hands. MS means the hips up.
CU is when I get the close up of the face. Only the head should be seen. WS is
the wide shot. It is head to toe. Finally, the OTS is over the shoulder. It is
when I get the persons shoulder, back of the head, and what they are
doing. Those are the 6 Shot Sequences.
What I learned was the 6 Shot Sequence. The project gave me
knowledge of how all that worked. I also learned how to use a camera. I didn’t
really know how to use one since I only recorded stuff with my phone at first.
What I will apply will basically be more footage. Maybe more
seconds to each of the 6 shots.
